This more different piece than the rest of my portfolio was an edit I did for Triangle Inc.'s program, Ablevision. Triangle is a non-profit, and their program Ablevision is produced by people with mental disabilities. Their aim is to provide peoples with disabilities, the opportunity to show that they have skills and abilities like anybody else. I was provided the footage and crafted it together into what you see now.

This project was about taking sound and creating images to match it. With the sound my professor provided, I pulled a mixture of found footage and old footage from my records to create a commentary on man's obsession with the unknown. I wanted to create a push and pull between images.

This was my final project of my first video class. I was told to do what ever I wanted as long as it demonstrated what I had learned and this was my product. This was how I played with reality through the camera's gaze.

This is a project in which I used found footage from various movies to create a commentary on the depiction of women within the world of film.
